The folks over at Trimble are working on Sketchup for your browser. This will allow us Linux guys to run it natively through Firefox ect. It is only in a Open Beta right now but you can check it out here. "Sketchup Link"
haha same here, took me a bit longer tho. Crashed it in about 20min. Not there yet. But if they get it going reliably would be a nice option depending. Currently I have no issues running Sketchup 2016 on my Linux machine through Wine. But as it stands; it is the last piece of software I need to use wine for.
