Open Builds - homing switch

    Hello

    upgrading Z. Unit comes with a different switch. Wondering if folks know what the conversion is. Switch is marked

    normally open
    normally closed
    Comm

    Anyone know how this translates to the open builds leads?

    Peter. See above. Open Builds instructions are very clear. I’d like to use this switch for the Z. Just because it fits well.

    but the three wire is obviously not marked the same. Don’t want fry anything. Let me know if you would just not use this one. I think I can figure out a mount for the open builds one.

    NO and COM to the BlackBox SIG and GND. Do not connect anything to the V+ on your BlackBox if you use the yellow switch you show above.

    That being said, the OpenBuilds switch has noise filtering and is far superior in that aspect.

    Thats the same as the docs. Just read next to the terminals or throw it away and rig up a way to mount your old switch

    Okay. Figured a mount for standard open builds switch! Hope to have first movements in a few weeks.
