Good Day New guy here and I've recently started using a Desktop CNC mill. Im busy trying to understand the differences between Climb and Conventional milling and see that in the CAM software when i simulate my pocket toolpath that both Climb and conventional moves in the exact same direction (anti clockwise in this as it's a pocket toolpath). So spindle rotates clock wise and the end mill path should be that of where the mill wants to push the part away as i understand and that will be conventional which i would like to do. But in the simulation i only see that the part will be grabbed and explains why i experience this loud noise and excessive vibration from my machine. I have also almost broke everything around me. I do however run my machine very conservative and slow 300mm/m 20% stepover on 6mm endmill (single flute for Alu) 0.3 Cut Depth Should i be inverting something? Any settings perhaps that ive missed? Any help or advice will be appreciated thanks.

Ah thanks i do have fusion but i do like Openbuild the simplicity of it Will attempt current job for the time being using Fusion360
