I created a toolpath for a vector outside path. I added tabs to it via the intuitive interface. Now I'm getting greedy. I make wood signs, and only need tabs on 2 sides of the rectangular sign. Is there any way to specifically locate tabs, instead of just having uniform spacing?
Unfortunately no. But, playing with the distance, you can get very different placing as the algorithm does its thing. Try a few different values
Forgive me for this silly question about tabs, but in your screen shot the "Tab Height" is at 0. Was that intended? I usually think of the tabs. height to be how. to be how thick off the spoil board I want the tab to be. The reason I asked this question is because I'm noticing that when I ask for tabs they do not appear and I am curious. what I'm missing. Any ideas?
I think i mainly replied with Where they are set, did not enter any details there. Play with the values and check the preview
Thanks Peter, Thanks for getting back to me. I was able to get some tabs after I sent it by clicking on "climing" and maybe some of the yes/no check boxes in the extra settings. This forum has been a huge help in my learning curve.
