2 things 1. Frequently, when I open the control software and try to connect to it, it says, "Port Error: Opening COM3: File Not Found". I then have to stop and save everything, restart my computer. Open the control software back up and it connects. Not a huge deal but, it's just a thorn in my side. What am I doing wrong? 2. If I and am running a job and something isn't right, I hit "Stop Job". Once I hit "Stop Job" the interface locks up and becomes unless, until I unplug it and it shuts down. I plug it back in and it starts up and begins working again. Is there something I am doing to cause the Interface to lock up like that?
1) make sure you followed step 4.2 of docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox or try a different computer 2) make sure your Interface is on Firmware v1.52
thank you! I disabled the USB turning off. But when I go to update the firmware I get a message, see thumbnail. When I do it on my interface the message is: Contacting Service: Unable to check for update - Server Error: 0x02 Currently, I'm running v1.51
