Hi everyone, New here, so I'll start with a quick introduction: I'm Vincent, 47 years old, a former mechanical engineer now working as a developer in AI. I live in the quiet countryside of central France. I'm reaching the end of the mechanical construction of my Plasma with THC (also DIY), and I haven't yet taken the time to make my final choice for the electronics. I'm evaluating all possible solutions. I had initially ruled out GRBL because I knew it doesn't support THC. However, I discovered that grblHAL does. My questions are: Is OpenBuilds Control with grblHAL a viable solution for a DIY Plasma with THC? If yes, I assume THC management is external—what inputs/outputs does OpenBuilds Control expect for THC management? Which controller should I choose? Of course, for a plasma setup, I need opto-isolated inputs (or else external opto-isolation modules). Thanks in advance for your answers.
