Just starting out and tried out the Openbuilds XYZ probe, I followed the instructions, but when I came to use it. I positioned it onto the corner of the workpiece, went into the probe setting on my Interface and picked 4mm bit. Positioned the bit over the hole. Scrolled down and selected XYZ probe, it started its cycle and moved away, and the Z axis moved down, the probe lit up green, when it touched..But the Z axis kept going down and down trying to pierce the Aluminum until I hit the emergency switch! Any ideas what is the problem? Do I have to set something uo first? Thanks
Sounds like wiring (signal not connected) Use the Troubleshooting tab in CONTROL to test the probe (lift plate up to touch bit - to see if it will work)
