Greetings, New OpenBuilds XYZ Probe owner here. I've testing with a piece of 2x4 firmly attached to my bed with tape and CA glue. The weight of the provided wires seem heavy enough to gently pull on the XYZ probe when it is sitting on the wood. I had to reach for the Emergency Power Off a few times as I was testing. I only felt safe when holding the wires while probing. Just curious if others have this issue? Should I use different wires? Temporarily tape the probe to the corner piece? Add weight to the probe? Thanks for any ideas. New to this and willing to be told I'm missing something obvious... John
If you prefer not to help hold the probe in place you can replace the wiring with something longer / more flexible.
I hold it because I want to be absolutely sure it is tight against the stock material so my XY zero point is accurate.
