Hi Guys, This might be a total noob question but can I use the OpenRail Gantry plates to interface to Vslot?
Hi @Jestah If you attach the OpenRail to V-Slot you can use the OpenRail plates on it then. This is because the hole spacing is different on the OpenRail plates compared to the V-Slot gantry plates. Hope this helps
Hi @kram242 thanks for that heads up... is the only Vslot plate the universal one? Would I have to fab my own smaller ones if I wanted a range like the openrail set? Also on a side note did you get my message on the parts store regarding my account?
The OpenRail plates will work with the OpenRail sizes from the size they are down. So for instance if you get the 60 size plate it will work on the 60,40,20 the 20 size will only work on the 20 because it is the smallest available size. So they are sorta universal a little The V-Slot gantry plate hole pattern will work with all sizes of V-Slot from 20x20 through to 20x80. We did and we will be working on that tomorrow and will get back to you asap. Thank you
