Sweet! I was thinking nail polish with thinner but model paint would prob be the same cost and hold up better :)

Yeah, this stuff seemed to work well, and should be widely available.

Would Tremclad brand paint work? That stuff sticks to everything :)

    Cheers,

Lol for sure but you want to thin it and drip it in then swirl to spread sit and let dry.
That's how I'm going to try it anyway :)
    Milling a name plate today

Another full kit is in the works about 1-2 days out

I got my plates from Robert this morning. Actually it was yesterday, my wife checked the mail on her way to work so I didn't get them till she got home around 12:30am. :) They look good even though he sold them to me as cosmetic blemished. Don't think most people would be able to see the blemish unless they knew to look. Can't wait to get some more of the parts so I can make some progress. Going to be slow going though due to the budget.

Which bit? I just spent $20 on another plastics bit mentioned around here. That's a great looking finish, even better for $8!

I pic them up now at Canadian Tire a local hardware/everything type store.
It is a simple dual flute "not two flute" 1/8 - 1/4 shank next time I'm there I plan in getting a few more for sure
I'm sure it's for wood but works well :)

I was just thinking seeing the plastic cut out and the paint added in the OX recess I wonder how cool it would look if you could glue a colored plastic inlay in the OX aluminum recess :) Just a thought

When you say kits do you mean like the one I posted or a 4 plate kit with belt clips and hardware?
