Hello, I have a Titan Studio Stand that I use for product photography with my DSLR camera. The horizontal arm only reaches out so far. I would like to add an extension to it by attaching a rail to the tripod head platform. I would like to take either a 20 or 40mm V-Slot rail and: Attach it to an existing 5/8 screw that is on a horizontal rail that would normally have a tripod head mounted to it. The platform is round with a screw in the center. For extra points, if the rail can slide and be stopped/locked down, that would also be great. As far as stability goes, I'm guessing I'll need to jib some kind of counterweight or strap to keep it level. On the end of the 20 or 40mm rail, I need to be able to mount a tripod head.
