I have been away from my machine Lead1010 for about a year. I was using Fusion360, everything working fine. Now, I can not get it to PostProcess.

    Receiving Errors, "
Warning: Invalid Work Coordinate System. Select WCS 1..6 in SETUP:postProcess tab. Selecting default WCS1/G54"

    Never had a problem before.

I typically change coordinate to a hole on model/stock, drill 2/4 holes for double sided registration. When I flip the stock it is perfectly registered to the other side.

That's not an error - it's literally meaning what it says - you didn't specify which workplace coordinate system to use in Fusion cam setup so it selected the first one (G54) for you. The toolpath will be post processed correctly.

I did specify WCS. I chose from "selected point"

See error with Fusion 360 and Openbuilds post processor?

You need to set the WCS offset

Just like the onscreen message tells you to. It also mentions if not set (left on 0) it will just assume you want G54 and that's fine usually too, unless you wanted to jig up in multiple coordinate systems for example

That's "setting an origin" - telling your cam which point on the design to use as a reference point. You can also choose which (of six in a grbl machine) work coordinate system you are going to use - G54 ~ G59. Sorry, on my phone so can't show you a screenshot of where to find it. You can ignore that message though, as it says, it is selecting the first Workplace Coordinate System (G54) for you (most people only ever use that one anyway) and the file will be post processed correctly.

    Alex.

Edit, just seen Peter's screenshot - Machine WCS - it's set at 0 (zero) - change it to 1 and you won't get that message. I believe after that you can right click on it and set it as the default.

I changed it to "1" to see if it processed. It did NOT. Still get the same error.

This maybe the problem. My new files are defaulting to a strange origin see attached...The old Origin with the Z axis top/bottom worked.

Are you creating your designs in a sketch in Fusion?

    Alex.

Still on my phone, so still no screenshots, but this pdf will explain what I mean.

Yes! The original axis default somehow changed. I fixed the original sketch to Z top/bottom (old origin) and ran the toolpath and it was successful!
