I have been trying to get my VFD pot to adjust the speed of my spindle. Once I get that to work I would like to get a hand held. First things first. I can use the up down arrows to speed up the spindle on the VFD, but the pot is non functional. I have a 110v HY VFD the jumper is on VR and the parameters are set to Pd00=0, Pd001=0 Pd002=0, Any ideas? Im sure running out of them
Contact the Vendor you purchased it from. They should know their own product better and be able to advise which parameters to change to choose the frequency source
The manual specifically says for external use and for iVFD pod use the settings are as follows Pd001 set at 0 for VFD use and 1 for MPG use PD002 (is set the same as one) Pd070 set as 0 I am beginning to think that the potentiometer is bad on the VFD. I can manually adjust the spindle by inputting the frequency and turn it on and off. Is there a way the test the potentiometer? It is built into the led unit.
Will be settings. Has to be enabled as the source of frequency. Post the VFD manual so we can help read, or (really) ask the Vendor. Its a 3rd party part, they should support it
I thought that is if I am running an external potentiometer. I will eventually right now I'm trying to just be able to run it with the potentiometer on the VFD. I think it is suppose to be on "0" to run it ran non externally
Your are so right. I have spent 3 weeks trying to figure this out . I read the manual over countless times but I miss read the Pd002 parameter as "1" being external like running my MPG. That is my next thing I want to do is getting my MPG to operate. I guess the setting on Both the PD001 and Pd002 would be the same if running my MPG and switching the Jumper to VI instead of VR. Thank you so much for solving my issue.
