I just finished cutting a project and was getting wood ready for another job when my motors stopped moving. Then I noticed the power supply itself is on, but the fan isn't moving. I checked all the cable connections, reset my breakers in the garage, and nothing is helping. Also when I turn off the power supply, the red light at the OpenBuilds Logo fades away slowly, so I'm assuming it's something wrong within the power supply box?

Nothing changed in the shop from when it completed the first job, so I have no idea what's going on for it to suddenly stop working. Does it sound like I just need to get a replacement?

The power supply fan will only come on when the unit reaches a certain temp and the red light fading is normal. Grab a multimeter and take a measurement to rule out a power supply issue.

If the power supply is good, here's some things to check on the blackbox,

Fuse near power input docs:blackbox:layout [OpenBuilds Documentation]
    The fan should be on
Green motors enabled led on (status leds docs:blackbox:layout [OpenBuilds Documentation])
No red ! alerts next to the motor trim pots (fault indicators: docs:blackbox:layout [OpenBuilds Documentation])
$4 in grbl settings still set to 1

Working now, thank you! It was the fan on the blackbox that wasn't on, a wire had come loose that I didn't notice, so all good now, thank you!!
