My centre finding macro is here (I ended up re-writing it): Getting started with Javascript Macros in CONTROL / Library of Macros created by the community
ok. thank you!! so how do I go about pulling up the macro program onto open build control. or software
To build on what Peter said in the other thread: Download the zip file and unzip it somewhere. In Control, go to the Macros tab (red arrow) and click the 'Import' button (green arrow). It will ask for a file - point it at the .json file that you downloaded and unzipped. That will add a new button to your list of macros (yellow arrow). Click that button to run the probe routine (after positioning the probe at the starting point).
do I need to be hooked and plugged into the blackbox in order to see it. cause im at home and not at the shop where the machine is.
Not surprising. Yup, haven't updated since Release v1.0.312 · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CONTROL That was Jan 11th 2022 Staying up-to-date would help. You SHOULD be on V1.0.370! That's all the new stuff you missed out on (More readable version: OpenBuilds-CONTROL/CHANGELOG.txt at master · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CONTROL ) Macro Import/Export was added around V1.0.356
now I have another issue. along the top it use to have the probe program to run my touch off open build probe. its not there anymore. where can I find it again. or where can I get the macro program for it
It's on the same thread as the other one, just a bit further up the page (posted by Peter Van Der Walt). Follow the link and it gives instructions to add it (slightly different to mine, as it pre-dates the macro import/export function): Getting started with Javascript Macros in CONTROL / Library of Macros created by the community
