hi team i still new in using sketchucam my problem is : when i write 5.5mm in Material Thickness i got about 5mm in g-code ! (see picture) because when i generate the code i see the z go to 6mm , not to 5.5 mm i could not write any points in these boxes . how i can writ any numbers with point like ( 3.4mm or 2.5mm or 3.9mm ) ???
The problem is that you have set the 'precision' to have no decimal places, so it gets rounded off for display (but the actual number is ok until you save the values a second time). You can see that many of the values are displayed as '~ 6mm' the ~ means 'approximately', showing you that it cannot display all the decimal digits it needs to accurately display the value. In Sketchup, select Window Model Info Units and you should see a dialog as below. You need to change the 'Precision' entry to at least 1 decimal, or 2 as displayed below. You may even need 3 or 4 since imperial bit diameters can have many digits, like 1/8" = 3.175mm 1/16" = 1.5875mm and so on. Note that even in MM mode you can type 1/8" into an edit box and the correct value will be saved the first time you save it, the second time it will be rounded unless you have enough digits of precision available0
