Hi, I recently bought an ozznest's 1m*1m cnc set up. Assembled and sending g codes via GRBL panel .
My 1st cut is a normal circle , with rpm 15000 and feed 4560.

While most of the cut was quite clear , i noticed a little distortion in the circular arc in two places .

An image is attached , I'll be very grateful if someone can point me towards the solution .

    Cheers

4560mm/min? that's screaming fast, but my guess is your X motor pulley setscrew is not set tight on the flat of the stepper shaft.
check the setscrews (and locktite) and try again at 1500mm/Min

hey , thanx for the reply . I'll surely try that . But after my 1 st cut , it snowed mdf in my room. So I'm building a frame to cover the machine to keep those awesome minute particles away from my nose. I'll let you know after tightening the X motor pulley

    Cheers

Wait 'till you cut aluminum. You'll think you've been glitter bombed.

You might start considering a dust vacuum system.

Yes for sure, even worse is my 100 tooth 10" aluminum cutting table saw blade, makes these beautiful square foil chips that flutter through the air! they get everywhere!

I built a frame that covers the whole machine except the power supply using pvc pipes , "T" and "L" joints and transparent plastic sheets. Plus the dust shoe . I'm not keen in running the Vacuum cleaner through out the whole cutting process. I hate that constant humming noise . Gonna try out the set up on Monday to see how it goes
