Success! No ridges so guess I did something right! Question is… I knew from previous experience that this was going to make a dusty mess! I was prepared and handled it well as a far as extracting it as much as possible without a dust shoe and etc. Probably a add on down the road. So the black box and power supply is mounted at the rear and catches ALOT OF DUST! How susceptible are they to damage from dust? Move them under the table? So far everything works great.
Over time it may cause overheating issues, so shielding them is never a bad idea. A regular clean out with an air duster also helps
One more question… Noticed on the x axis the v wheels on the top are collecting the dust and packing it on the rail. And sticking to the wheels. Maybe too much tension on the eccentrics?
