    Hi everyone-
I posted previously about some weird behavior on the steppers and I think I worked that out with adjusting speeds.

I was able to run one job and now I have red lights on my blackbox for 3 of my 4 steppers (the only one that is ok is one of the Ys)

I have a general question. Is there a command I can issue in gcode, or some log I can access that will explain why the red lights are on?

I'm a complete noob, so if the answer is a gentle "Do this stupid!", that's fine. I just want to get this up and going.

btw, I've seen references to washing with acetone, I just don't have any at the moment.

Thanks for all the help, I love this community
    Dan

Refer to OpenBuilds BlackBox 4X Documentation (i.e turn the current down)

Red exclamation indicator comes on for
    - overtemperature (adjust current down a little, check fan)
    - overcurrent (adjust current down a little)
    - undervoltage (make sure PSU is 24v and gives clean power, use recommended Meanwell LRS350-24 to be sure)
    - short circuit in motor wiring (check wiring)

If it was working then goes red, most likely overheating.
