Bonjour. Cordialement. Bertrand Traduit avec DeepL Traducteur / Translated with DeepL Translator Good morning. I would like to know if it is possible to restart after a machine stop, (limit switch inadvertently manipulated) at the place where the stop was made with OBC V1.0.213. Unfortunately, I had to restart after 6 hours of burning. Thanks in advance for the answer. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Bertrand
Short answer? No. Emergency stops do not maintain machine position. It's impossible to know how many steps were skipped as the machine stopped itself. If you probed the part you were engraving and started from a fixed origin, then you can re-find it and re-start the process. If you just set up the workpiece roughly and hit go, it's unlikely. On the other hand, if your laser kerf is quite thick, you may be able to eyeball its position and continue from where you were. It's possible, but unlikely. Hopefully this translates well!
Merci Short and quick answer that answers my question perfectly. I always start from a fixed origin, this allows me to start from exactly the same point. Thank you
