The newest update 1.0.344 is buggy as heck. I click on it, and the lower task bar says it's started but nothings on my screen, so I click on the icon on my lower taskbar (where it says its running)and get the blackbox commercial, if I wait long enough I'll get the Control software. Then After I load my G code and connect to the machine, the mouse quits working. I ctl alt delete and check my task manager only to find 3 Openbuilds Control running and all are taking different amounts of memory. This is a consistent problem since I updated to the latest. Can I revert back to the earlier version which worked just fine. I am doing nothing different than before.
Just tried it, seems ok my end. I would delete all instances of OB control, then re-install a fresh copy.
1.0.344 only had one change. The removal of a shadow around a button. Purely cosmetic, impossible to be the cause described. I agree in reinstall as a test, but also, check PC for viruses/malware/miners , update drivers (GPU and Chipset) and install any other applications that could be using background CPU/GPU
