I am cutting mostly smooth curves in 3D in wood with little fine detail. Accuracy is important but the surfaces are smooth not detailed. I've been finishing with a 1/2" ball at 7% overlap. Tt still leaves ridges that have to be sanded out by hand and take longer to do so than I would like, especially as the finished part is quite fragile and I can't apply much force. I would like to try some sort of sanding attachment with a effective area of approx 5-10mm. A little bit of averaging of the surface within that radius would be acceptable. does something like that exist? I'm wondering about something like this, but smaller: New Dome Sanding Mop/ Polishing Mop Polishing 180Grit Dia.48mm | eBay
