Hello all, thanks for taking the time to help me with what I hope is a straightforward project. My goal is just to move a lightweight object along a single axis at programmable speeds.

So, I just purchased and assembled the following from OpenBuilds:
V-Slot NEMA 17 Linear Actuator Bundle (Belt Driven)
V-Slot NEMA 17 Linear Actuator Bundle (Belt Driven)
    NEMA 17 Stepper Motor
    NEMA 17 Stepper Motor

I also already have the following parts lying around that I am hoping to use for this project:
    Arduino Uno R3

    12 V 2 A Power Adapter Supply https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q2E5IXW?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_K4NFNBWG8JGTERAFRFR9

I’m looking to power the Arduino via laptop USB and the motor driver via 12 V power adapter. I am hoping to achieve speeds between 2 cm/s - 20 cm/s.

What drivers, Arduino libraries, additional parts or replacements for the above parts do you all recommend to get this project up and running as soon as possible? I’m hoping to keep this as simple and cheap as I can. Let me know if you need additional information.
