I'm trying to find a CNC with the smallest possible footprint that has a work area of 3" x 20". I just want to work on guitar necks with this machine. Does one of these already exist? Are there companies that would manufacture this for me? Would someone here be interested in such a project? I'm not sure where to start and I cannot build one myself. Bob
Buy a Lead and cut the extrusions and lead screws to whatever size you want. OpenBuilds LEAD CNC Machine 1010 (40" x 40") Though I would suggest building it first, then figure out where to cut.
