    1. Occasionally the Interface will not recognize when the bit touches the Openbuilds XYZ probe. The Green LEDs light up but the bit keeps going.

    2. After pressing the "Goto XYZ Zero" (Or accidentally pressing it) the Cancel Abort button does not function.

    3. Can the interface be made to remember the last file ran so it can be ran again without scrolling though a list of files?

    4. "press OK to continue or Cancel/abort again to cancel" about 20% of the time after pressing Cancel/Abort the second time, the program continues instead.

    5. At times the Interface goes haywire. One time the machine moved the Y- when pressing the X-. The Y- button lit up as if being touched. Another time it just locked up, see video.

    6. Can we get a space between the file name and the % done? See Pic

    7. Should the machine be homed after each power up?

    8. it seems the USB-C port no longer works. My Laptop does not recognize when the USB is plugged in, and the port does not show in Openbuilds Interface.

    Interface sends the G38 command

Grbl takes over and completely autonomously performs the probe

Once it completes/fails grbl just returns the result to Interface

Interface forms no part of "detecting" the bit

If it fails the probe, it means Grbl did not see the signal. Ie wiring / bit conductivity / forgot magnet / etc.

Always. Homing establishes where the machine coordinates are in physical space. It doesn't know where the machine ends of travel are yet, and it doesn't know if anything moved while it was off. Same after every alarm, every crash, every reset. Rehome so it knows where it is.

Make sure you are using a USB-C data cable. Included cable is Power only
