Does anyone know where I can source a 2020 version of these ?? I like this particular design because it uses straight cuts...
We don't have those, but whenever we need to throw a diagonal brace, we just use these Adjustable V-Slot Hinge One side mounted to the frame, other mounted to end of diagonal - works great Picture borrowed from Hinges / Adjustable Angle Support Connections
Thanks. I had thought about using these style of connectors but assume they are structurally weaker than the design I shared. But without actually testing or with component data, I have no idea. I have been trying to do some "hypothetical load engineering" to use knee braces in non safety critical applications. There are also 45 and 135 degree track rails but which would require me to cut 45s. Perhaps these are the most sturdy if I can get an appropriate flush cut. But again I don't have any data. Are you familiar with this 3rd type ?? I think I could use the 3030 connectors and they just wouldn't fit within the tracks. There's even another 3030 style that is off plane that might be able to be used as well Between all these styles which do you think would give the most structural support ???
