    Hello,

I would like to build my own moving target range for air rifle. Something like that:
I'm really not an expert, but it seems like a combination of a V-Slot linear actuator bundle and an arduino plus adafruit motor shield should do the job. What speed can I expect from the Nema 17 stepper motor with this configuration. I need to achieve at least 1 m/s. 1,5 m/s would be nice. Is this doable with fx. the big 30tooth pulley?

    Thank you

    Gerrit

Dug up this old thread searching for the same information.

    Can anyone help?

I have a similar request to the original poster except I need to build a high speed camera rail. Payload is about 500g. Need to achieve 50cm/second. Acceleration needs to be 0 to 100 asap, deceleration doesnt matter.

Is this a realist prospect for a nima17 in a vslot mini?

    Thanks for any input

I have been working on a cool targeting system that I think would be a lot of fun. I do not have it yet ready to post but I will do what I can to get it posted asap.
