hello, just wonder, how people mount dwp 611 on openbuilds spindel mount which is 71 mm in diameter. There is 1 mm gap between spindle body and mount hole. They says about some additional shims, but where can I get them ready to use. thanks
Have a look in resources - if you have access to a 3d printer there are some there. You could also search on Thingiverse.com. Alex.
I use a 611 without a shim and it works fine. If you have a 3d printer: Dewalt Router Mount Shim 71 to 69mm If you dont have a 3d printer: Shimming OB spindle mount
The front bracket itself is very tiny. Have no idea how it can hold rigid spindle, cutting hard materials, aluminium for example. Seems more people use Dewalt 611, rather than Bosch Colt. So seems strange, why this holder exists only D 71mm, and not D 69 also. Chinaaa !... There are Youuuu !
