I finally got my Openbuilds LEAD 1010 machine up and running well except for one problem. I have a 1.5 kw spindle and a YL620-A VFD. Both are 110v. I am able to start and stop the spindle and vary the speed up to a point using the Openbuilds software. Spindle full speed =24,000 $30=24,000 $31=0 Blackbox supply voltage=24v Following are Blackbox voltage outputs for various speed settings. They are the same with or without the spindle connected. Speed Volts 3000 1.26 6000 2.49 9000 3.75 12000 5.00 13000 5.39 14000 5.81 15000 5.98 18000 5.96 21000 5.96 24000 5.95 It all is good until about 14000 where it will not go higher. This is where the actual spindle speed tops out as well. When I adjust the Fine Tuner at s24000, the output voltage does not go above 6v. I have not been able to find any other adjustments to make. Where am I going wrong? Do I have a faulty Blackbox?
The issue seems to be the voltage output from the Blackbox. It is not as it should be even when the VFD is totally disconnected. It is unable to get to 10v.
I have been through all of that many times as well as the github post. The Blackbox 0-10v output will not go to 10v including when nothing is connected. It stalls out at 6v with any setting above 14000. That is why I am questioning the Blackbox. The other possibility could possible be a glitch in the openbuilds control software. I will reinstall to see if that has any effect.
