I have a LEAD 1010 and I attempted to surface my spoil board , the problem, is when I built the machine, I made the spoil board as large as possible ( bad Idea) because I now have a hollowed out area limiting my ability to cut from larger stock. do folks use spoil boards cut to the exact size the machine cuts? if so what size area are you using for the 1010?,, Thanks
Option 1: knock down the surrounds with a plane Option 2: learn to love the edges - nice solid perfectly parallel alignment hard-stops to butt the edge of stock up against before clamping Option 3: add a smaller half-inch spoilboard on top. Check grbl settings > max travel to see the work area
