Has anyone installed a square 1.5kw spindle on the LEAD machine instead of the classical round spindle+clamp support ? I was wondering if anyone has already an idea about the mounting plate details.
    Thanks for help.

Did you come up with a good mounting method?

Looks like a simple pate with holes for the spindle and holes that will line up with the z gantry plate would be a quick make out of aluminum.

Or just drill new holes in the z gantry plate.

Although, The outer measurements will be pretty tight with the wheel mounting holes. Yje more I look, the more I believe you will need a custom plate to mount to the above plate so you can still access the 5mm screws that are used as wheel axles.

I figured a custom plate was needed but hoped to find something already made. I've got some 3/8" 6061 on the way.
