How would you program a delay between pressing start and the machine moving? I am using a relay to control my exhaust fan and laser power supply and neither powers up instantly once the relay contacts close. I need a 15-20 second delay for the fan to spool up much less for the laser power supply to come on line. Would also be nice to have the fan run for a while after cut completion to evacuate the fumes before opening the enclosure door. BlackBox X32 with an IOT relay and Lightburn for control.
Thank you, I will look in Lightburn and see if that is an option and will make a note of the G4 P20 just incase.
There is an option in the cut settings editor Advanced tab for Start and End pause time the article I found says you must enable Cut Through to enable the pause. Will give it a try in the morning when the shop isn't 100 degrees.
The Lightburn Start/End pause works as advertised BUT, it disables using the laser while framing which I find to be a very handy feature. Will give G4 P20 a try next and hope that doesn't break another feature I use.
