Hi all, I searched the forums and really couldn't find an answer, maybe because there isn't a good one. Putting torque curves aside and just speaking in very general terms, do 2-phase, NEMA 23 stepper motors have an optimal working RPM range you should keep them within, a "butter zone" if you will, for max performance on a DIY CNC router? I realize they lose torque as RPM increases, so I don't need lessons on how they work. I'm just looking for facts and/or first-hand, practical application experience from users in the group.
