I need some guidance. I want to improve the acceleration of my 3D printer by replacing the Nema17 stepper motors with higher current stepper motors. Any suggestions on what I should look for?
    E.g. High or low inductance?
High inductance tends to mean high torque... but this is a 3D printer application so... when comparing stepper motors, should I look for high currents and low(er) inductance?
    (I'm using a modified Creality CR10S (300x300x400 H-frame with 2020/2040 V-slot rail profile)
The stepper motors seem to be 800mA... some sources say 1000mA (1A)
I was more trying to get something with a proper datasheet. The drives are TMC2209 (up to 2A). The stepper motors get very hot (and they are in an enclosure and I'm using a heated bed (750W) and am considering adding a chamber heater at 400W so they're running in a very warm environment and obviously running for hours at a time.

Current rating relates more to torque (higher amperage usually higher torque)

Acceleration relates more to Coil voltage rating. Lower voltage = higher acceleration (PSU voltage of say 24v on a 6v motor is slower to accelerate than 24v on a 3v motor like ours

Inductance relates to top speed, lower induction = less self braking = more top end speed.
