I'm looking to add another stepper motor to my Blackbox X32 to control Z Axis motion. Looking around I see lots of Nema 17 motors with various specifications. From this site I can see the spec seems to be 1704HS168A-OB that came with my Acro system. Does it matter which spec Nema 17 I use ? others I can source locally otherwise I'd have to track down this specific one / buy here.

    thanks

yes, use the same spec as the OB motors. or very close to it. Peter has explained why a million times , inductance, current and voltage matter.

Would you say these compare, see so much info about voltage, but still quite confusing.

    Existing Acros motor.

Just get ours. Specially made with perfect electrical specs. Those you posted have very Inductance, will run about half as slow as ours before stalling.
