Hi, I prepare a svg file in illustrator and save it with 1000mm x 250mm.
    When I open it to create gcode, it opens with 750mm x 190mm ! ! !
tried several times. What I am doing wrong?

Make sure to Save as 72dpi from Illustrator

    Just downloaded trial Cut2D and it happens the same, opened a 600mm x 800mm and it opens with 18.898mm x 25.197mm ! !

if I open files made some time ago, they open with correct measurements. lately, and today, I make any new file and they open erradicaly. Just opened a 500c700 file and results in 374 x 524 !! What can be wrong? some bug? this started to happen when you made the Dark Mode

All the end of the day, SVG is always a tricky format to use. Pixels x DPI = actual measurements

Did you remember to convert everything to Paths.

What changed? New version of illustrator? Saving differently (export at 96dpi vs save at 72dpi) or some other change your workflow?
    750/1000=0.75

Looks like you might be exporting as 96dpi instead of 72dpi - that math adds up to the same error ratio

In this scenario, it seems like you are exporting the SVG at 96dpi, but the target application expects it to be at 72dpi. So, the target application is interpreting the SVG as if it were designed for 72dpi, resulting in a smaller size.

thanks, since Openbuilds CAM changed for darkmode, these problems started. I open new document at 72dpi and save it at 72dpi. I am saving the day by drawing the files with openbuilds CAD directely just because the work is about several squares, but I miss the round corners !

Probably unlikely. The math above clearly points at a DPI related scaling issue. Along with your own report that your old files doesn't have the issue

    Post some Sample files please
    1) one created new and not working and
    2) one of your older working files
So we can compare and see what might be different

One is created in Illustrator, the other lacks editor information:

    upload_2024-6-11_16-6-43.png

    Also different <SVG> tag metadata

Definately created differently: as suspected. Something about your export/saving workflow changed, clear as day per the different meta data. Size ratio also points at 96dpi vs 72dpi

As it seems to be exporting as 96dpi, maybe try to draw it as 96dpi if you can't find the difference in how you used to save / export
