I recieved my 14 watt laser today from China. It has the driver attached to the heat sink and noticed a switch on it labeled K1. It is different than what was shown on eBay. Does anyone have any idea what this is for. Circled in red in image. I have not powered it up yet...
My guess is a 'safety' switch to kill the power to the laser module... I would check it and see if its a latching type switch (which I think it is)
I got it up and running tonight. From what I can tell, the switch just turns the fan on and off. Not sure why you wouldn’t want the fan on.
