My open builds black box has been trouble free for the last few months and now the y axis is not holding its settings. During the cut it moves out of position by .25mm. I set it to the right spot and zero it out and run job. When the job is finished I return it to zero position and the y is not in the proper spot but both the other axis are correct.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Can we have some more info please. What machine is this - is it belt drive or leadscrew. As a wild guess I would suggest the first thing to check is the motor coupling/drive pulley fixing to the motors. Whatever it is more likely to be a mechanical problem than electronic.
