    I've created a design in fusion 360. Imported into the openbuilds cam web app.

    In my design. I've created holes for dowels. I've tried to use the drill peck, drill continuous, cnc vector inside. All of these. It completely ignores when simulating and cutting.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Also. How do I copy and paste to put multiple pieces in the same G-code? I'd like to cut a bunch of the same piece.

    If you have Fusion, it has built in CAM, far superior to the free 2.5D OpenBuildsCAM - we suggest you use that directly: See docs:software:fusion360 [OpenBuilds Documentation]

    If you would rather use OpenBuilds CAM though, make sure your DXF is:
    - Only Polylines (explode Arcs and Splines to Polylines)
    - DXF R14 format
    - See docs:software:file-errors [OpenBuilds Documentation] for more tips.

    Also checkout Problems with importing DXF into OBcam for an example of checking and fixing a DXF to be Polyline only.

    I will use Fusion in the future. I'm on a time sensitive build and I really don't think I have time to learn this process.

    If I select one hole to peck. It will simulate that. If I add a second. The software will just peck in the 0x/0y axis. It also imports the .dxf so the 0x/0y is in the middle of the design. Which makes it difficult to orient the design. If I select the design and try to move it. The view in the software will just change to a 3d view. Move the design slightly and completely distort it.

    Who designed this software :mad:

    I am one of the Developers, ;) - and here to help you learn. Have a read through Terms of Service and Rules | OpenBuilds > Rules about halfway down, particularly Point 2 (;
    Every application you use will have some learning curve, and some specific requirements or methods. An open mind learns better :)

    Still indicative that there are non-polyline Entities in the file. Upload the DXF and I'll tell you where they are. As mentioned, if your CAD doesn't export clean polylines you may have to go into an intermediate CAD like QCAD or Draftsight and convert it all to Polylines.

    Use the Transform tool on the toolbar on the left. Select Transform tool, click the Document in the 3D View

    Enter 0,0 into left and bottom, to align it to the bottom left. Keep in mind the default position is as the CAD file said it is. Because some people design with a specific origin in mind. You designed it with origin in the center

    Export your OBC file (File > Export Workspace) if you want us to take a look. It exports the file, settings you used etc all together
