Hi, I just update BlackBox x32 with new firmware with OpenBuilds CONTROL v1.0.370. After Update Log / Serial Console detects board: Firmware Detected: grbl version 1.1f on 192.168.1.216 on WebGUI is v1.1f, but screen looks like this: no SD card, only some 960 KB storage, no controlling CNC machine... But everything works on OpenBuilds CONTROL if I neglect that the import of the settings did not go correctly. but I read everything from the TXT file and checked. I kept the new $xx parameters default. How can I downgrade? Or what I'm doing bad? Thaks!
You have to complete installation per GitHub - grblHAL/Plugin_WebUI: ESP3D-WEBUI backend for networking capable drivers/boards with SD card support In short: You must download index.html.gz directly via this link. Upload the file via the upload button in the FileSystem panel. This is the new V3 WebUI
Thanks again. It works. New WebUI is better. It would be good if this was added to the documentation (firmware update of BlackBox X32). Also, it would be great if it was possible to zero the axes via WebUI and based on XYZ Touch Probe Plus. Is it possible to set position to any XYZ value as in OpenBuildCONTROL?
Thanks for the suggestion, we are actually working on trying to add it back in like it used to be to avoid extra steps. Soon. The WebUI is not ours (we still recommend CONTROL) but any specific suggestions or support for the WebUI can be logged at repository linked above, working directly with the grblHAL developers.
I know that WebUI is third party SW. OpenBuilds CONTROL is really good SW (better manual manipulation, 3D preview, working with predefined probes...). But I miss one function... loading program from SD card directly. When I load NC program in PC and let commands go trough USB, it's good, but on WiFi a have a latency problems. The positions are then skipped and, for example, the milled circle is not a circle and when it is, it is much smaller in diameter than when controlled via USB. On the other hand, I have to admit that the whole Openbuilds project is very successful and useful. It is good that you have an e-shop with recommended material, tools and electronics. Thanks
