Hey everyone, I've been considering adding vacuum clamping to my Lead1515 but I had a question around positioning work pieces. From what I've seen, the spoil board on vacuum tables is usually just plain MDF. I currently use 20mm dog holes in my spoilboard to position multiple pieces of stock to batch cut parts and assemblies. I figured having dog holes in a vacuum table would defeat the purpose because it wouldn't allow the vacuum to clamp down. So my question is how would you go about positioning multiple pieces of material accurately and repeatedly on a vacuum table styled spoil board? Thanks in advance! Logan
Industrial vac tables that have holes cover the unused holes (uncovered by your stock) with “coins” that sit in counterbored holes
