I cant find where to post a question so I will reply to this. Does fusion 360work with the open builds software
I am missing parts to my 1515 build can someone point me to a customer support number cant find anything
Happy to help: Look at the menu up top of the page: Use the New Ticket option to create a support ticket for the store
I have gotten those emails and that is because of the forum not because of your customer support. here in lies the problem with emails. I just need a shipping conformation that you have sent my parts thats it. do you have that? can you send it to [email protected] please. if you dont have that number how can i get it? I really need my machine built if there is another way I will do so.
Hi Dustin, I think there is some confusion. You have been talking to me through email http://support.openbuilds.com/support/home. What you are commenting on right now is our forum. I will update the order and your account to reflect the new email address above and email your tracking # to you.
I dont know where to go man my controller wont connect and when I try and connect it to different ports cause the controller cant be connected. how can I get a new controller
Then not related to the thread you posted in (4X specific issue). Moving your posts to a new thread For X32 connection issues, see the documentation's comprehensive FAQ instead. docs:blackbox-x32:faq-usb-connection-failed [OpenBuilds Documentation] In future, please open your own thread for your own issues unless directly related to an existing thread thanks, just helps keep the forum well organised to help you best.
yea I have done all of that. Also the black box doesnt fire up unless it is plugged into the computer dont know if it is supposed to fire up with just the power source. It is throwing a controller not responding code
It is, so lets check that first for you. Can you post pictures of how you have the PSU wired to the BlackBox (both ends) and pictures of the PSU if its not our usual
We'd be happy to check everything for you - just best. Thanks The more info you provide the less back-and-forth the quicker we can get you sorted. Please do post pictures of the Power Supply wiring for review Awaiting all the info requested to continue
That is still not the pictures of the power supply - those three are just three more different angles of the BlackBox X32. You already mentioned you had the power supply wired up: If it was wired incorrectly, or its a bad PSU, best to disclose so we can see if theres a way forward. Feels a bit like you are avoiding posting the pictures, after three requests so far. Was there an accidental miswire?
Here are the pictures of the power supply. i am not avoiding posting any pictures at all. This machine not running is costing me about $400 a day. I went with you guys to see if your machine is as advertised since then I have had missing parts with my table buy and CNC buy. Not to sound like "that Guy" your wiring system is fairly simple and I get it really not a chance I could wire it wrong. It has never fired up unless plugged into my computer. I followed all the instructions on the youtube video multiple videos actually. I can keep going if you would like? I dont have the money or time to sit here and have you tell me i am holding back. I will send you any picture you would like I just miss understood you and I have to walk to my shop to get them. sorry to inconvenience you. thank you for your time
So on the BlackBox you have GND as white (incorrect) But on the PSU you have correctly got Black on GND. Reverse polarity wiring sadly would have been the cause of death. See the IMPORTANT WARNING sections of the Documentation: docs:blackbox-x32:connect-psu [OpenBuilds Documentation] As mentioned in the FAQ's Section 6.3.1 some incorrect wiring can cause permanent damage Sorry about assuming you were withholding. By the third request (along with the symptoms and the reply denying that it would be related) it felt best to ask. Imagine our perspective from the above conversation as well. Sadly this BlackBox is destroyed. Unfortunately the warranty does mention exclusions See OpenBuilds Warranty
Checkout BlackBox Motion Control System X32 Triple check all wiring against BlackBox Documentation before powering on anything to avoid future damage.
say what you want man I have had problems with this whole Machine. It should be covered under warranty because of all the bullshit I have to go through to try and build this **** thing
