Would anyone know what the maximum distance my wire can be from a VFD to 800w spindle without losing power. The cable I have now is 16awg 4 strand sheilded. Thank you for your time. John
The 3phase cable can be quite long to route around the machine and over a Swing arm. How far do you have in mind?
I’m looking at a good 14 feet of cable. I could shorten it by about 3 feet if I reposition the VFD. I was aiming to route the cable through the x and y cable trays for a neater appearance. Thank you for your help.
