OK, now I am stumped, or at least am overlooking something very simple. I am looking for a control board with 5 motor connections. 1 each for X and Z, 2 for Y, and the 5th one for a rotary axis I want to add. In looking around, I see some boards out there, but I am not seeing how or if they are able to slave one of the connections to Y.
anybody out there tried out the Smoothie board? I have been looking at the specs but I am not sure if it can set up to put 2 drivers to 1 axis.
Hi Dale, You can slave many drivers to one axis by running the step and direction signals in parallel to the drives. Cheers Gary
