i found a store that sells salvaged galvos, laser parts, motors, just tons of anything anyone here would want. well in one area i found a bunch of these parts and bought a few, i have no idea what they were built for specifically and would like to figure that out before i repurpose them. there are no markings or numbers
The 2 little square ones look like bearing housings. The rest, can be what ever you want them to be!!
The main problem i find with forums; The problem that has kept me from joining any until recently, is there always seems to be an abundance of people who don't know the answer to the question, can't even think of an idea to help, yet fascinatingly is compelled to give a meaningless opinion. A store that has lots of industrial machine salvage, tons of parts you would need to build a CNC, and a "bunch of these" implies that they aren't really custom, and mass produced which would mean theres most likely people that would know that it is. So i don't really see why you think any of this is funny, because i've actually been finding out what some of these parts go to. They go to Wafer machines which people build so they can make their own ICs.
Yeah, i bought a bunch more of those, they fit 608zz bearings really snug, and the 4 holes on each corner are perfect matches to attach a NEMA17 size motor!
