I'm trying to wire up a 4th axis to a Blackbox 32. I bought this cheap 4th axis unit and it has a stepper that says "3.0V" "1.5A". Which one is it? Is the *real* limit 3.0V or 1.5A? Does the Blackbox stepper outputs behave like a voltage source at 24V or like a current source at X amps? Can I use this motor or should I swap it out for a different NEMA17?
Ours are 3v 1.7a. Stepper driver controls voltage. Might run a little hotter than our motor. Turn current all the way down. Minimum is 1.2A
