Hi everyone, new here. I've just ordered the C-Beam machine and am now sourcing out the rest of the parts required to complete the build. I cant seem to find any info on which router/spindle to get other that the Bosch colt. is the Bosch Colt the only spindle that can be used? are there other spindles with collets up to half inch i should know about? Thanks in advance for any help that is provided
Many use the Dewalt DWP611. That's a 1/4" router. (1/8" and 3/16" collets are available from 3rd party vendors.) I'm not aware of any 1/2" routers that are small enough for this system.
