Hello all. I am building a large Laser cut table. The frame work is built for the table and I should have it install in my shop next week. I have the extrusion as part of the table and will put the gantry on after the table is set up. It is now time to get the electronics set up. I do have a CNC xPRO V2 Controller Stepper Driver and was wondering if this is the controller I want or is there another solution I should look at. I have been looking at the tiny G and it seems pretty solid. The build thread has not been updated to my new table design. it is still a large table.
This will be more than capable as long as your stepper motors are rated for less than 1.75A RMS. More than that could fry the driver chips. I think most nema 17 and some nema 23 motors fall into this category
