Hi, I have a PROVerXL 4030 with the extension kit. I have been having problems with it lately and can't figure out why. In cuts of more than several hours (which most of mine are), well into the cut my z axis drops about 5mm. Sometimes it gradually drops all the way through my project and into my waste board. I have calibrated x y and z several times and they are spot on every time. I have gone through the grbl settings and they are set as recommended. I have flashed the grbl. I have tried the Dewalt and Makita routers. I now have a spindle on it. I have tried two different computers both of which should easily handle the job. I have tried g Sender and Open Builds. I created the grbl files with Vetrioc VCarve Pro. I reached out to Vetric and they recommended I use slow feed. I am running 400mm/min at 19000rpm. I am using new bits. This has only been a somewhat recent issue. You can look at my pics and see my stuff done with the same equipment. The only thing I haven't changed is the controller. Will the OpenBuilds controller fix this issue?
Thank you for your help. My spindle is a 1.5kw water cooled. My grbl settings are as follows: 0=10 1=25 2= x=0, y=0, z=0 3= x=0, y=1, z=0 4=0 5=0 6=0 10= WPos = 1, Buffer= 1 11= 0.010 12= .002 13=0 20=0 21=0 22=0 23= x=0, y=0, z=0 24=25 25=500 26=250 27=1 30=3000 31=0 32=0 100=156.6 101=155 102=161.219 110=4000 111=4000 112=500 120=400 121=400 122=80 130=610 131=610 132=100
