My X & Z axis work perfectly. Y Y axis did as well before I soldered in wiring extensions. Before I tear apart my solder joint, does the video sound like a wiring issue? If it is I was sharp enough to make the same mistake on both stepper motors.....

Sounds like 3 of the 4 motor wires making contact and one loose to me. But also double check stalling due to heavy spindle, dial down acceleration and max rates as a test too

Wiring seems good, with the multimeter I have the coils ID'd and the motors do move. Both motors are on the Y axis so no spindle weight and are being tested with no load. Speed and acceleration do not seem to matter. I have even removed them from the C-Beams and still the same issue. I have decided that rebuilds are so much fun

Double check that on the far end of any extensions too (So measure A+ to A- across the extension's one leg, through coil, out the other extension leg back to connector on far end, then same for B+ to B-) The noise in that video's last half sounds very much like either crossed coil pairs, or only 3 of the 4 wires making contact.

Happy to review a Grbl Settings backup if provided

Only other thing it might be is if the Nutblocks get stuck. Were they nice and smooth on leadscrew (if not add dry/ptfe lubricant)

Found it. Wiring was good. 101 Y-axis resolution was set to 19. I have no idea how but det it to match X&Z and all is good...now to solder the extension back in. Again thank you for your patience
